Tony Angell... Owner and Concrete Countertop Artisan
My experience in concrete started in Duluth, MN working for a small concrete business owner where I learned the basics of concrete. I predominantly poured concrete walls and flat work, like floors, sidewalks and steps. Five years later, in 2004, I relocated to the Twin Cities and continued pouring concrete for a commercial union company. While working for the union full time I continued to pour concrete on the side. In 2010, my thirst for knowledge and my interest in concrete, led me to start exploring concrete countertops. I read up on the process and tried pouring a countertop in my home. Friends liked my counter top so much, that I made some for them. Each time learning a little bit more, and becoming more and more of an artisan. Today, I do have a real job. I know it sounds strange, but concrete is my passion. And, since these concrete countertops are not my livelihood, I am able to be a little more flexible with my pricing and still supply a high quality product and some great customer service. I still help my customers with other concrete needs as well, like sidewalks, steps and concrete slabs. Please give me a call. I'll try not to disappoint you! |
